Detection and description of new Phytophthora spp. and other oomycetes in Europe and other continents, on terrestrial and aquatic environments; assessment of their potential host ranges.
Genomic basis of susceptibility and resistance of Fagaceae tree species and the potential role of soil microbiome on the outcome of plant host-Phytophthora interactions.
Early detection of Phytophthora infected plants by analysis of volatile organic compounds emission.
